The 2-year OEM warranty applies to genuine equipment regardless, registering just puts your purchase on file so support and any warranty claim are faster, with your system and parts already on record.
What does registering do for me?
It keeps your system on record for faster support, tracks it against the 2-year OEM warranty, and, if you opt in, sends a reminder when a consumable like a lamp module or light guide is near its rated life so you are never caught with a dimming source.
Do you share my information?
No. Your registration is used to support you and, if you opt in, to send maintenance and reorder reminders. Nothing else.
